So, I've decided that I am the world's worst blogger. But here is a quick update on the Beasley household.
Alex started school last week. He is taking some pretty tough classes. So he spends his nights reading and studying his Hebrew vocab. In the meantime, I usually do laundry, read my Karen Kingsbury book, or play on the computer. Oh, the joy of being in seminary!
I finally found a job about a month or so ago. I work at First American Payment Systems which is a company that provides credit card processing to small/medium size businesses. I work in the Inside Marketing office...sounds professional, right? Well, I'm pretty much one of those annoying telemarketers who calls businesses all day to try and set up appointments for our sales representatives. That Christian Studies degree is sure paying off! I love my job because I work with wonderful people, it's flexible and I am not required to work on Fridays. On the other hand, it is a very stressful job. I deal with a lot of rude people, rejection and this constant pressure to succeed. It's a love/hate relationship. But it does pay the bills!
Other than school and work, Alex and I are enjoying being married. Our favorite things to do are cooking and renting movies. We are loving being together. But we are definitely ready to see our families. Alex and I are leaving Labor Day weekend and flying to good ole Big Spring, TX to see my parents and grandparents. Then we will be flying to Jonesboro in October to see all of his family. We are very excited about spending time with family!
Well, that's the latest on the Beasleys. Hopefully, I will get better at this blogging.
